Banana Hazelnut Pizza




Last Sunday, we had Mei and Wayne over for lunch and I made Banana Hazelnut Pizza. Here is my take on a Pete Evans recipe (serves 4).

Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas
1/3 cup toasted hazelnut slivers
2 tablespoon hazelnut spread (Nutella)
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 quantity pizza dough

Method:

1. Slice bananas and toss with lemon juice. This will prevent the bananas from browning.
2. Spread Nutella on prepared pizza dough followed by toasted hazelnut slivers and sliced bananas.
3. Bake in preheated oven (our oven was preheated to 150 degree celcious) for approximately 20 minutes or until pizza edges brown slightly.
4. Serve hot with vanilla ice-cream (or in our case we had it with home made green tea ice-cream).
